This course is designed for anyone who wants to get their Teeline Shorthand up to 100 words a minute and to pass their NCTJ Teeline Shorthand Exam. Or for anyone who has passed 100 wpm and wants to refresh their speed.
It is for people who have some experience of Teeline and potential delegates should already be working at around 60 wpm to start. It is not a course for beginners.
The two-hour sessions, run by highly experienced shorthand trainers, will be at the Press Association offices in Victoria, London (very close to the station) every Monday evening from 6.30-8.30pm. They will run every week for 11 weeks starting on Monday, April 24th culminating in the opportunity to take the NCTJ shorthand exam on either June 29th or July 14th.
The cost for the entire 11 weeks, which includes an entry into the exam and the NCTJ Teeline Gold Standard for Journalists book, is £365.
