The latest version of Create offers fast and easy access to articles, images, curated social media, schedules and PA Media’s news diary, plus saved searches and email notifications that can be tailored for any area of interest. Our new system makes it much easier and faster to find, choose and download our Features content. Here is how it works.
Finding Features Wire content
You will find all the Features Wire content you are used to receiving by clicking on the “Lifestyle” Service in Create:
The most recently added Features content is at the top of the page. To the right of each piece, you can see the number of images that are available with it.
Click on a story and you will see a summary of the piece. The full copy is found under the “Leads” tab and can be copy and pasted from there. All images for the piece are under the “Images” tab and are downloaded from there.
Clicking on the downward arrow next to Lifestyle in Services brings up five sub-sections to help you find specific areas of content: Health & Wellbeing, Travel, Fashion & Beauty, Food and Drink, Life.
Setting up and saving a search
You can set up and save a search (or multiple searches) so you can easily find the content you most regularly use.
For example, to find all our SHOWBIZ interviews and reviews on the Features Wire, set up a search by Topic name as follows:
Click on “Advanced Search” at the top of the left hand bar.
Under topic enter Showbiz + under Service enter Lifestyle.
Press search and you will now see all the showbiz features.
To save your search:
Click “Pin to menu” button.
Under the purple “Search” button you will now see Search: (Filtered). Hover on that and there is an “Edit” option.
Click Edit (NOT THE X which removes it) and type in the name for your saved search eg Showbiz.
Showbiz is now there for you as a saved Search whenever you want it.
Once you no longer need this search, hover over it and press the X to remove it.
You can create and save multiple searches.
Finding schedules for features content
We provide two types of schedules for Features content: SCHEDULE Day which is published at 7am and itemises what will be available that day; SCHEDULE Weekly which is published each Thursday morning and itemises what will be available in the week ahead Monday-Friday.
These schedules are found in the Features section in the Diary area of Create.
Meantime, our schedules can be pinned as a search as described above (search using Topic: Schedule; Service: Lifestyle).
The Schedules area of Create
We will put collections of seasonal & topical features content into the Schedules area of Create when appropriate.
For example, our Christmas content goes out to Features customers in packages from September all the way through to December. When this Christmas content is transmitted this year, we will put a copy of it into the Schedules area, so our customers can easily access it when they need it.
