Howden
The 13th century Bishop's Manor provides the ideal training environment. There is a main training room with several break-out rooms including Mac and PC suites. The Manor has played host to kings, princes, lords and bishops and today provides the perfect tranquil and scholarly environment for the teaching of journalism. Its contribution to the academic needs of the community has been recognised with a grant from Yorkshire Forward.

By Car: Leave the M62 at Junction 37 and follow signs for Howden town centre. The Manor is off the square in the middle of town. There is public parking behind the Manor.
By Rail: Both Goole and Howden stations are a short taxi ride from the Manor.
Newcastle
The former Trinity Mirror Editorial Training Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne was acquired by the Press Association in January 2006. The centre was established more than 30 years ago. It is the base for the only foundation course in the UK located in a working newspaper office. The newsrooms of the Evening Chronicle, The Journal and Sunday Sun are located next its fully-equipped training suite.

By Car: At Redheugh Bridge Roundabout exit onto A184. Turn left onto B1307, Wellington Street then bear left onto A186 Westgate Road. Turn right onto A186 Collingwood Street. Groat Market is on your left.
By Rail: Trains from Kings Cross, London run every 30 minutes. The journey takes approximately 3hr 30min. Trains also run every 30 minutes from Edinburgh. The journey takes approximately 1hr 30min.
London
Just a three minute walk from Victoria station you will find our training centre, on the ground floor of the Press Association's Vauxhall Bridge Road headquarters. Our centre offers an excellent, accessible training environment, kitted out with PCs, Quark, Photoshop, InDesign and everything needed for journalism training.

By Car: Vauxhall Bridge Road is on the boundary of the London Congestion Charging zone, in operation 7am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday. For more information visit www.tfl.gov.uk. Pay and display car parking near the Press Association is available outside the Congestion Charge Zone at Semley Place and Ecclestone Bridge and inside the zone at Rochester Row.
By Rail/Tube: The Press Association is just 300 metres from Victoria Station where both mainline overland trains and the Underground stop. Victoria tube station is on the District, Circle and Victoria lines.
