Course Description
David Randall is one of the biggest names in print journalism in the UK and his book the Universal Journalist is often described as a text book for modern journalism.
Now you have the chance to join him for a series of four, two-hour lectures which looks at what makes great reporters.
Those seminars take place both in person and online.

Where to Find Great Stories
Just where are they hiding? Discover how to find them in a session liberally spiced with examples of great off-diary stories – and some truly appalling ones.
Interviewing & Research
The secrets of how to question people so you get the information you need to write great stories. This includes a list of the most valuable questions in journalism the dumbest.
Handling Statistics & Other Mysterious Things
Everything you need to know to become numerate, to spot stories in data, yourself being taken in by statistics, surveys and polls and those who peddle them,and how to never again make howlers with numbers.
Writing for Journalists
The secrets of great news and feature writing are revealed in a session that takes you through how to write fresher, inventive, and intelligent stories.
