PR courses in Howden
 
A new series of PR courses aimed at businesses in Yorkshire and Humber is being launched this month by Press Association Training. The courses are led by Andrew Drinkwater, a journalist who has worked in TV, national and regional newspapers, and been PR head of a large multinational business.

Newcastle course is top of the league

Our foundation course in Newcastle is officially the best in the country according to new league tables published by the NCTJ. It is the first time that the NCTJ has officially published rankings of the 70 courses it accredits based on exam results.

Malta diploma launch

A new diploma training programme for The Times of Malta has been launched by the Press Association Training. The diploma is a practical qualification that is recognised by the global newspaper industry. It is based on the Press Association’s award-winning diploma scheme which is now used by Northcliffe newspapers, Thomas Crosbie Holdings, Trinity Mirror, The Times, The Daily Telegraph and many others. 

Schools Olympic success

Pupils from schools in Stratford have been taking part in a new project at the Press Association as part of their new specialised diploma qualification. The pupils from three schools around Ilford worked at our training centre for three days producing leaflets as part of their course work.

College media project launch

The Press Association training has teamed up with Newham College in East London to launch a new project to help young women understand more about how the media works. The project has been developed in partnership with mWorld, a youth lifestyle education organisation.
