New digital sales team for the Press Association

The Press Association has completed the line-up for its new, dedicated, digital sales team led by former ITV Head of Online Sales, Colin Ramsay.

The 6-strong team is responsible for selling Press Association content including News and Entertainment genres to digital customers. In order to maximize the commercial value of the content, the team will help shape digital product development for particular markets, extend the digital customer base and drive new revenue streams from existing digital products.

Commenting on the benefits to customers, Colin Ramsay said, “We are now in the position to add even greater value for new and existing customers by developing more tailored content packages for customers including text, graphics, images and video, designed to create compelling and targeted environments which deliver effectively on client objectives including attracting increased user numbers and in turn advertisers.”

The sales team reporting to Ramsay include three newly appointed account managers, Tamara Atimomo (formerly of the Telegraph Media Group, digital sales team), Ryan Hanley (formerly of Sport Syndicator) and Anderson Morgan (formerly of My Movies) who bring with them a wide range of experience in digital sales. The formation of the team marks the start of the Press Association’s increased drive to maximize the commercial return from the digital side of its content resources.
