Sutton Motorsport Images F1 Grand Prix deal extended

PA Photos, Press Association's images division, has renewed and extended its exclusive deal with the world’s largest independent motorsport picture agency, Sutton Motorsport Images to deliver Formula 1 coverage to picture buyers in the UK and to selected partners worldwide. Sutton has once again appointed PA Photos as its exclusive agent for live sales to UK newspapers for the 2009 Grand Prix season.

Discussing the deal, Martin Stephens, Assistant Managing Director, said:

“The appetite for Formula 1 racing images has grown in the UK, particularly following the success of British driver, Lewis Hamilton. Our customers in the UK and around the world are asking for images from every race – both on the track and in the pits. We know that Sutton Motorsports can deliver that unrivalled imagery and we’re delighted to have extended the agreement.”

Sutton’s live F1 images are available through paphotos.com, as is the popular 2009 F1 preview, which offers picture buyers a convenient team-by-team synopsis ahead of the opening race in Melbourne on 29th March. The team at PA Photos can also fulfil requests for archive pictures from the extensive Sutton Motorsport picture library of nearly 600,000 images covering over fifty years of the sport.

Keith Sutton, CEO of Sutton Motorsport Images said:

“I’m delighted to be working with PA Photos in 2009. This year, I’ll have a five strong team covering every round of the Formula One World Championship. It’s a special year for me, because I’m entering my 30th year working as a professional motorsport photographer. I’ll be attending my 400th Grand Prix at this year’s British GP at Silverstone and I’m looking forward to photographing an exciting season of motor racing.”
