Our Olympics news coverage - bigger and more ambitious than ever before

Press Association Sport has been preparing for the London Olympics since July 2005, when London won the Olympics hosting rights. Our plans for 2012 Olympics news coverage is bigger and more ambitious than ever before.

We have a dedicated correspondent for each Olympic sport who will attend all of the major events between now and 2012 to provide a comprehensive selection of Olympic Games news, interviews and editorial pieces in the run-up to the Games. Major events in 2010 include the British Cycling Championships, Judo World Championships and Rowing World Cup.

Fast, fair and accurate Olympic Games news

Our winter Olympics news service, Paralympics news service and 2012 Olympics news are complimented by a range of digital products and services designed specifically for the Games, providing a fast, fair and accurate news service.

As part of the Press Association’s commitment to London 2012 Games, our team of journalists will also cover the wider remit of:

  • The Cultural Olympiad
  • Infrastructure developments from the Olympic Park and other venues
  • The Olympic Legacy
  • Youth and education programmes
  • Participation and wider regional involvement
