The Press Association is constantly innovating, for ourselves and our customers. We have some great people working on some really exciting things.

Our top-notch development teams are exploring new and exciting technology to harness the depth of our content and allow our customers (and developer friends) to access and manipulate that information.

We are improving the way we produce content for our digital customers as well as creating prototypes and demos using new technologies available.

We are also collaborating with the University of the Arts, London on a two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). Our three associates work with the agency and the London College of Communication’s Media and Printing and Publishing schools.

Here is a list of just some of the projects we are currently working on. We’d be thrilled if you would like to become involved in what we’re doing or if you have any suggestions, questions or feedback.

  • Arts and Events API

  • Data mining

  • Semantic web

  • Geocoding

  • News visualisation
