Woolworths.co.uk starts Easter hunt

Online retailer Woolworths.co.uk wants children to get on the internet to design its new Easter-themed logo.

When Woolworths left the high-street and relaunched on the web last June its classic red logo was given a digital makeover with the double oo's receiving regular seasonal updates, in this instance they become a pair of colourful eggs.

Creative kids are encouraged to post their inspired oval creations on Woolworths' Facebook fan page.

All entries will be judged by a panel of eggs-perts and the winning design goes online on Thursday, March 25.

Matthew Jacques at Woolworths.co.uk said: "We want families to get together and get painting, but not just any old painting, we want them to paint eggs for our Easter logo and then send us pictures of their creations."
