Bookies' favourite Sophie admitted she "never thought she'd win" series 10 of Big Brother.
"I never thought I'd get on the show, let alone win," she told Davina McCall after being the final contestant out of the house, adding that she believed Rodrigo or Charlie stood a better chance.
However, after 93 days, the 20-year-old blonde glamour model from Cheshire clinched victory from under the nose of runner-up Siavash.
Sophie, the only female finalist of the 2009 contest, emerged from the Big Brother house amid a cacophony of cheering from the gathered crowd.
However Davina quickly cut to the chase at the beginning of her exit interview, asking about her feelings for ex-housemate Kris, with whom she enjoyed a romance - but later declared herself single after reading a magazine interview with the hunk.
Sophie was lost for words, and was also rather bashful when he said: "Spot on. Well done babes."
But Sophie said she would have to talk to Kris to discuss what happened in - and out - of the house during the last three months.
Davina later asked what winning meant to her, and Sophie replied: "Honestly, I've never won anything in my life. I never thought that I'd actually win this. I just feel really accepted by people."
When asked what she was going to spend the £71,320 prize money on, she replied: "Charity, clothes and chihuahuas," before the night skies over the BB house were lit up by more fireworks.
Sophie had a hugely eventful time in the house. She changed her name by deed poll to Dogface to become a housemate, and soon became one of the show's most popular contestants.
However, she also fell into the same trap as many former participants by discussing nominations. On Day 33, Big Brother punished her by telling her to stay silent until 2am. Because she failed, Sophie faced the public vote.
Six days after her first telling off for nomination discussions, she and Siavash were punished with a swearing ban until 3pm. They both failed and once more Sophie faced eviction.
And it wasn't just her romance with Kris that caught the attention of many fans, Former BB winner Brian Belo was clearly impressed. Aside from asking her out, he also buried his face in her ample cleavage during a flying visit.
The victorious model, who changed her name back to Sophie on Day 72, was involved in no end of hilarious moments, including her memorable performance as Noirin in the re-enactment task; her attempt to sing Pie Jesu, and a rib-tickling attempt to copy Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) video.
With one more series of Big Brother to go before Channel 4 closes the house's doors for the time being, there's a good bet Sophie can look forward to at least a year's worth of high profile coverage until BB11's victor is announced.
