As the national news agency of the UK and Ireland, the Press Association is able to offer one of the best and most comprehensive training opportunity in the media industry.
Through a mix of formal classroom training, the environment of a modern multi-media newsroom, professional tutors and working with talented and experienced people, we are able to offer a choice of training across the gamut of the industry.
This year, we have expanded our training opportunities and have recruited both graduate entrants and A-level (or equivalent) students to a range of positions.
These programmes combine both formal tuition at the Press Association Training Centre in East Yorkshire and on-the-job experience across a number of areas of our business. Many of our trainees will have already attained qualifications and some experience through graduate and post-graduate courses. But most important is talent, enthusiasm and a real drive to succeed.
